The 2014 Soft Interfaces IGERT Retreat will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014. The Retreat will be a one-day mini conference which will include brief research presentations by all current IGERT students.

Professor Hagan Bayley (Oxford) delivered a Syracuse University IGERT Lecture, “Minimal artificial tissues from communicating droplet networks,” on June 10, 2013. This event was sponsored by the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Biomedical and Chemical Engineering and by the Syracuse University Soft Interfaces IGERT Program.

IGERT Fellow, Ariel Ash-Shakoor, participated in the NSF IGERT Video & Poster Competition in May 2013. You can view her video presentation and poster here. The Syracuse University News wrote about the competition.

The 2013 Soft Interfaces IGERT Retreat was held on Saturday, March 2, 2013. The Retreat was a one-day mini conference that included brief research presentations by all current IGERT students, a poster session by IGERT Associates and the visit of our external advisory board (with a keynote lecture by one of the advisory board members).
